Great Planes Cirrus SR-22 with 69" wingspan
Just got my June 2013 issue of Model Airplane News and saw this new scale aircraft of the real Cirrus SR-22 Turbo.
![]() It has a fiberglass fuse with a 69" wingspan and is much larger than the currently available 50" Great Plane Cirrus SR-22. I've been trying to find another plane to share my 6-cell 5100mah lipo's. It appears to be a "shoe in" for electric power. Only problem for me is Great Planes told me it won't be available until sometime in June. In the meantime I'll be saving my nickels and dimes.Check it out at: http://www.greatplanes.com/airplanes/gpma1363.html Joe M. |

Take a look at pages 12 and 13 of the assembly manual on the larger 69" Cirrus http://manuals.hobbico.com/gpm/gpma1363-manual.pdf Does the nose gear on the new larger 69" Cirrus look similar to the smaller 50" version ? Hope not. Joe M. |
