Does the ARF bixler come with the gold connectors for both the motor and ESC?

Well I finally built and maidened my bixler today and I am impressed with its glide and speed. My ESC is warm to the touch after I unplug, Is this a problem?
I was getting 25 mins from a battery (1300mah) I replaced the elevator and rudder servos with some better ones and I replaced the Pushrods/clevises on the Ailerons and the horns or the Rudder/elevator. My ESC is a Turnigy PLUSH 30amp and the motor is stock. The motor/prop combo does take a little while to reach full RPM (2-3seconds) after full throttle has been applied, Can I alter this Via ESC programing?

Has anyone tried putting floats on their Bixler? I have a Bixler 2 on the way and I live by a lake and thought it would be cool if it works. Anybody?

A SS kit to include wheeled landing gear and floats for 198.00CNY ($31.74) can't be beat. Whatcha wanna bet that kits sold to customers in Shanghai have instructions printed in Engrish and not 查看购物须知明.

I have a frustrating problem with the elevator and rudder throws
can't get more thn 20° angle on the control surfaces
servo throws are ok the linkages are on the first hole on servos and last on control horns and the rod is ok...how the heak???

Do you mean the hole closest the center screw on the servo?

With that set-up I can easily understand why you have limited surface movement.

Try middle hole on the servo and middle hole on the control horn.
If that's still not enough, move to the outer most hole on the servo.

To get the most throws out of your control surfaces, think of the leverage and movement of the horns/arms. To get optimal throws, you want your control rod to be on the hole furthest away from the servo on the servo arm, and the hole closest to the hinge line on the control horn. This will give you the most possible throw. But, this does put more stress on your servos and you do not get as much torque.
