My Experimental Model # 230 ...another strut-braced flying wing.

I am motivated to build many gliders, due to the endless development possibilities . Building bigger models, of a scale model is all ways good, so, here I start with a 3 mt scale glider # 230 . Another 2 mt glider ( #201 )has been flight tested and its story has been published here as " strut-braced flying wing "
Aluminum ( battens ) hollow spars are being used , as well as balsa frame elements, to create a stiff, light-weight frame. So far , the mid section looks and feels * OK , before a stressed skin is applied ( perhaps balsa or thick cardboard as with other models ) No real paper plans, just build as I fabricate .
A strut-braced system will add stiffness and mechanical support for the high aspect wings at low wing thickness ( about 11 % at the chord )
Outter wing panels ( 75 cm each ) will be detachable , to fit glider in a car.
