Learned something about the Beast yesterday. It will fly with only three bolts holding the top-middle section of the wing. I'm glad I'm pretty good about pre and post-flight checks because I spotted it missing during a post-flight check. I loaded that bolt up with thread lock, but it still came out somehow. The washer, however, was still stuck to the strut.
I think I finally have the wrinkles getting close to being under control. I think I'm up to seven hours with an iron going over every square inch of the plane.
Don't forget pre and post-flight checks!
Couldn't agree more. It goes without saying, but planes of this size and power require routing maintenance!
