Thick wing micro

First, is 3 ozs light enough to be a micro? If so, I made a thick wing plane that seems to have a lot of promise for a small area.

Have to disagree with you on the symetric wing not generating a lot of lift- its true at zero angle of attack it wont produce any, however even at only +1 deg it will...rather than go into a treatise on aerodynamics, just consider that ALL scale aerobatic models use symetrical airfoils yet most can easily pull 30 gees..
remember you can only pull as many gees as you have excess lift available..ie to pull 30 gees the wing must fly and NOT stall while carrying 30x the weight of the model.
I for one wont call that "not much lift"

That wing seems like it would have alot of drag, and it being symmetric, wont generate much lift.

First flight? Cant wait till you get her dialed! Very nice. It's harder to make em fly slow than fast. With the power we have these days, drag isnt a problem, it's a solution.
