Just thinking- How are you planning on mounting the motor? Small DD pusher? If it's light enough, a second vertically mounted 6mm motor with a ducted AA / heli tail prop mounted midship would provide enough vertical control to simulate VSTO/L

I might just make one by your plans, too- I love the JSF project.

Yeah I was going to use twin DD pushers mounted to fake underwing missiles. As far as VTOL you could just use this as a body for one of the number of tiny DD quads hitting the market, hiding the rotors under the wing.

You could likely use one 7mm motor mounted DD for 10g thrust, in the center rear... But you do have some balance issues with that motor in the far aft.

been my experience also, same with twin on verts ala lee or twin on back of wings, say 30-50mah for single, 80-120mah lipo for twin, balance and cg your there
