HK one or CRIUS on rctimer

Go for Crius AIO Pro. It's fantastic. Great sensors, can run multiwii AND megapirate. Get that + the CN-06 V2 GPS. You won't be disappointed.

I also faced the same dilemma, but ended up pulling the trigger on the HK one. I'm looking to use it as a fixed wing autopilot, so not so worried about the barometer resolution.

If I can't get ardupilot to work properly, the GPS module is a pretty good one and I'll use it on my CL-OSD upgraded G-OSD II.

ArduplaneNG is made specifically for the Crius AIO Pro. That would be the easiest solution.

So, a little more research (after I've already ordered it...) and it seems that for waypoint nav this needs a CRIUS I2c-GPS NAV board. So only a $10 saving on the Crius AIO + GPS combo and no support. And HK have already printed my order. Oh well.

And where there is at MultiWii Pro Flight Controller detailed instructions for installation and configuration?

Start a chat with them and return it! People say to order it from rctimer but dx.com has the CRIUS AIO Pro for $57 dollars

Try chatting with them if they haven't shipped it!

Well this "Top Version MWC MEGA 2560 9DOF Flight Control Board Care Free + Self Return -X Mode" board is basically the same thing and it has three manual pdf link in the description called:

Mega 1

Mega 2

Mega 3

Other than that, its MultiWii software and support is from them. there threads here for MultiWii or as people start getting them, maybe this thread can be a support thread for this board.

But with the appearance of these boards and others with better sensors, its driving down the cost of the more expensive boards like the DIYMulticopter MultiWii Mega Board. It used to be ~$160 plus the GPS module. Now its $92+$33=$125

They even change some of the description to include "Compatible with MegaPirate"

the reason i stressed on the weak baro... just cuz... at the same price... you can get better sensor.. (AIO)... then why bother...

speaking of "high end"(kind of) we are looking at good alt hold, rth/rtl, loiter... and if baro is weak...it will cause unstable flight when alt hold is on and great power consumption(depend on pid somehow)

From your knowledge, could someone add sonar to that HK Multiwii board?
Might add some accuracy...

sonar only work for close ground condition.. and yes.. any mega2560 board has enough serial port to connect sonar
and also mpng supports sonar

by saying close ground... i guess 5meter is the accurate limit

Once they print an order you're stuck with it unless there's a warranty issue. I'm going to just work with it and see what it can do. I reckon with its incredible price there'll be some passionate programmers out there that make it do waypoint stuff.
