This thing will climb in a very light wind when going into it, i always have to give down elevator to keep from climbing ,even under no power, I think it is due to the extremely wide wings And on landing i also have to give it down to get it to land even with flaps down, it will glide forever !

The calculations I have thus far come to are about 2 hours potential endurance time using 4S and 5000mah, though honestly I think it may be a bit better then that after watching a bit more FPV footage from others. Sofar I have flown mine a few times now, I clocked about 35 min in the air on a full battery charge and it still had about 40% left and I was cruising around between 1/4th to 1/2 throttle most of that flying.

Do you think i'd get a big hit in endurance if i stuck to 3S? I'm not looking at fast performance, just endurance.

for endurance you will get better results with 4S...

The higher the voltage you use, the lower your amp draw will be for the same power.

True, though on larger batteries a 4s would be roughly 33% heavier for the same mAh no? This part always confuses me... i'm just gonna have to test it on 3s first or not be lazy and search through the forums =)

I just received my Super Sky Suffer from BH, Their are several enhancements that have been made to the wing and tail spar. their is now an internal tube that the wing spar fit's into. as far as the shipping goes, the only cost was $10.00 and that covered the extra cost of the 5' tall package.

well test results are in...

Flew 40 minutes (Ran out of daylight) with some mild acro... a few loops, and vertical climbs but mostly cruising around.

Used 2159mAh of my 2x 2650mAh 4S packs

Calculating that out to full battery usage I get 98 minutes of flight.

Im going to need to invest in a comfortable Ground station setup!

Setup: All stock except ESC (Turnigy Trust 45A w/ SBEC) and Batteries (Zippy 20c 2650 4S)

That is an insane flight time! i'm tired of only getting 12 minutes on my bix =)

How do you get at the screws out of the servo arms without screwing up the foam? They do not give us any room. Also I purchased the arf version, what is the largest battery I can buy that would still work with the stock esc?

use a long handle screw driver to get at the inside servo screws,(wont hurt to even put a small hole from top down to screws) i put in a 50 amp esc with 4 amp bec as the stock one isnt enough to handle flaps,i am now using a 3s 5000mah battery

Ya, it was a great flight... cant wait to FPV this thing!... Im building the FPV pod now...

But remember... every setup can be different... even with the same parts. So test your setup before going far or taking it to its limits!
