wing vaccum bagging and fiberglass
I am going to sheet my foam cores with balsa but I was wondering if anybody has ever used fiberglass fabric between the foam cores and the sheeting for added strength. I was thinking of using 3/4 oz weight for the fiber glass fabric and to either use epoxy resin or something like gorilla glue. The wings are for a laser 200 25%
Thanks for your inputs,

I do it all the time for my 424 & 426 class pylon racer wings. I do the very thin v-tails (http://sempra.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=35) and the main wing (http://sempra.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=34) very similarly. By adding some fiberglass cloth in the trailing edges, it allows me to really thin the TE and have it remain very stiff.
I do not like using the polyurethane glues however; it is no where near the stiffness of the laminating resin wings.
