drift car custom build proccess and price?

hello, and I know I have been exploring the idea of drift cars, but, I also want to custom build a rc car( ethier 2013 bmw m3 or a brand new aston martin vanquish, but I cant decide. ( both for drift racing.) also what are the advantages and dis advanteges of building one, and how much would it cost?

When you say custom build, do you mean from scratch or from a kit?

look, im olny twelve, and I wanted to scratch build an rc car, so that's why its different. I want to compare ideas so I can see what I can do with my money.

You'll want to start with a kit over a scratch build, and whatever body you put on it won't make any difference at all except for how it looks.

No one scratch builds cars unless it's an extremely scale build of some sort. If it's your first car and you don't have any other RC experience the best bet is a RTR combo so you aren't having to look for all the parts to get it running.
