The silver one appears larger than the red one.

I was thinking the same thing! Since there is less different covering they saved so much money on the silver scheme, they were able to make it a little bigger. You know, pass the savings to the customer. :-)

Well.....look at that...no need to "Drill" props like a 4-bolt pattern....

Wow.....$420 at tower....I hope it's got the power.....over my soon-to-be-here DLE30.....

That may be like comparing a DA120 to DLE111......ya think?

You'll be the FIRST I know of with one of those motors....I'm very curious to hear what you think of it. According to the weight shown on the Specs section of tower's site vs. the weight of engine/ign/muff from the DLE30 manual, it'll be about 6oz heavier than a DLE.....that's not much if it's got the POWAH!!! You know we expect video soon...right....

The silver is lighter too. Something in the manufacturing process makes it lighter than most other colors, especially red.

Silver also resists deterioration from UV much better than other colors.

Silver is better.....it's science

I really like the silver, but does it have red or orange trim? It looks like the prototype was orange (but it may just be my lousy computer)

So did I read this right, no Silver 58" Edge? Crying shame!
So is there a 58" thread started yet? I do believe I have found my next plane.

But silver has metal in the coating and that will cause brown outs.

Actually, the metal flake in the silver covering acts as a RF booster. You can fly your silver plane up to 1.23 miles farther than a non-silver plane.

You need to check your facts before you put your foot in your mouth rob
