Please keep in mind when reading - Taking Off With RC Helicopters - FAQs 102 is targeted a little above the beginning stage but don't be expecting toooooo much - it's not an encyclopedia. What it tries to do is provide the right balance of what to expect and things to learn without over whelming or under whelming. Taking Off With Helicopters - FAQs 101 is for beginners - it assumes nothing - it doesn't throw stuff at you like you are suppose to know. It takes off at a careful and methodical rate of climb. It provides time to acquire to the controls. If you want are an absolute newbie and starting at the beginning - let me know and I'll send you a demo copy of FAQs 101. Have a great flight and a great training! Please let me know how you like it .. and if you like it buy it .. tell a friend ... spread the word!!

Really depends on where you are starting. Ideally, you want to have the basics before climbing into 102. FAQs 101 starts at the very beginning with coaxial helicopters - FAQs 102 continues from there with single-rotors and advances to 450's. Sending you samples of both. Have a great read!!

Thank you. I have been flying FP for a little more than a year and fly a mCPx since shortly after they came out. I have hundreds of hours on Phoenix. My biggest issue is set up. I have a 450 clone and a 250 Trex. I have been unsuccessful in flying the 250 because of setup issues and setting things up incorrectly. It's ready to go again but due to weather will be delayed for awhile. I have learned alot from here and helifreak but can always learn more.
