I found that amainhobbies has the best price at $455, and I would venture a guess that they will have some sort of 10% sale for labor day. On top of that, you get points to put towards other discounts in the future.

Charlie, now Greg, done a great job with the Fusion 50 based on the design of the Velocity50. If you are still into flybar heli, the tunable head is great.

Yes, it looks like an awesome machine to buy...The only reason I went Align is parts availability..Unless I'm mistaken, I could only find parts at helidirect & amainhobbies. I had a bad experience buying a HDX 500 and could not find parts anywhere (when it also turned into the HC500?).

Would I like to get one?....you bet! But I get this feeling that Outrage makes a heli, then drops the line (parts support) and moves to something else. No consistency.....

Outrage is highly invested in their Velocity and Fusion line of helis. Parts are being made in large quantities are are available at amainhobbies, helidirect, completeheli, experienceRC, and many other places. Also, more and more shops are picking up Outrage products. They are really hitting the market hard and fast with great quality, so I would count on them being around for a while. Another great thing is that many of the parts for the 550, Fusion and Velocity are the same. I think if you got one you would be extremely happy with it, as well as the follow up support, parts availability and cost of spares.

Man! You guys are going to make me get rid of one of my T600's and get a Fusion!!! Thanks for pointing out more places to get parts....

Does the kit come with main or tail blades?

Nieves, after I got my Fusion I got rid of all of my other helis, lol. Eagerly awaiting the Fusion 90 next spring, but already gearing up on the parts I plan to use.

The basic kit comes with tail blades, not main though. Outrage is also working on putting together full combo kits with a wide selection of electronics and blades.

What were your other helis?

I had a Trex 700E, Rave ENV, and Trex 600ESP...

Thanks, debating a few differant 600's and it was not clear from the sites I was looking at.
