Help!
Need +/-143 gram outrunner

I need a Brushless outrunner that is in the range of 143 grams that has KV of 600 to 700. Hopefully to run a 13 x 6.5 or even a 14 x 7 on 4s...

Is there such a beast?

I saw this too. What prop could you run with this on 4s? Could you get away with 4s on a 13 x 6.5?

Which motor is that? Could it handle a 13 x 6.5?

If that 143 gram motor is consuming 550 watts using a 12x6 prop, I'm going to predict that with a 13x6.5 it will turn into a molten puddle of copper and iron within seconds.

Oh this one?
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idproduct=7708

This one seems to be the one that could most likely handle a 4s system with a 13 x 6.5 prop yes?

Hi dead,

Here's the specs from the site:

Dimension: 51mm x 37mm, 70mm(with shaft)
Weight: 136g (kv600) (not including connectors)
Diameter of shaft:F5mm
Length of front shaft:F19.1mm
Lamination thickness: .2mm
Magnet type: 45SH

Max performance;
Voltage: 2-3S
Max current: 35~50A
Prop: 12x8~14x10
Thrust: 1820~2400g
Power: 800W

I just don't trust any vendor who claims that their $19.00, 136 gram motor is capable of absorbing 800 watts.

Nor do I trust their math, since 3s (10.5v under load) and 35A-50A is about 370W-525W... 800W is 76A.

Nowhere does it say "for 4s"... either "2s-3s" or "max voltage = 11v".

According to the manufacturer's data it weighs 185g (210g 'with adapters').

OK, Let me take a moment to say thank you to all who are contributing to this thread. I REALLY Appreciate it!

Now that we have this new data I am back to my same old question.... Need a 4s motor in the 140 gram range that has a 600 to 700 KV so I can swing a big prop for 3D on 4s? Does no one make such an animal?
