Turnigy 5055-580 and 8mm Prop adapter

I could use a hand keeping a collet style prop adapter on the shaft of a Turnigy 5055-580 motor. The plane it's in has a reverse mount meaning that the motor is mounted behind the firewall. Using the included adapter won't work as I have no way to mount the motor in that direction.

I used a socket wrench to cinch the adapter down and thought it was on good and tight but it still broke free at about half throttle with a 6S battery. This is about 7200 RPM if I'm doing the math right (((25.2*6)/2) * 580). I plan to use a smaller prop next time around but am still going to spin the snot out of this motor...

So, what's the best way to keep a big cinch this prop adapter down onto the motor? Loctite or...?

Thanks in advance!
