Friday, start out fine and warm. Wind to the N/E, then swung round to the North. Entertained with Dynamic Soaring, by myself and shaking with fright. Then a typical RAFMAA event, rain appeared.
Only one mishap, Martin Gay was flying a homebuilt Fox. While coming into land, with a beautiful touch down, a sheep in its wisdom. Jumped up shearing the tailplane in half and from whiplash, a rather large crease in the fuselage behind the wing
Saturday, start out wet and windy. Wind from the East. Surpirising the sun decided to show an appearance, with a decline in wind strength. No competiton, but plenty of "fun" flying with a couple of trips to the bottom of the slope. Also Martin Gay manage to retrieve, his model from pending doom of a walk to the bottom of the slope. But with some very nice example of the thermal soaring in very light lift
Sunday, no competition due to rain. But Colin and Neil managed around 1/2 an hour at Roundway, before the rain arrived.
Some photo's from last weekend, slope comp.
No Solange competition, no wind.

Great event with even better company. Thanks very much for organising everything. Looking forward already to the next one.
