1s battery checker?

Does anyone know where to get a 1s battery checker or how to easily check voltage on these small 1s batteries?

Bill

Hi Kam, I have this one from hobby king https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...S%5F8S%5F.html
It says it's a 2S battery checker but if you look on the back of the case the first 2 pins indicate 1S.
It works fine and fits my needs for larger battery's as well.

I only use it for a quick check of 1S battery voltage after battery charging or for checking storage voltage but what I've noticed is that if I fly to low voltage cutoff on my 1S batterys (180 mAh and smaller) some times the unit will not measure. Not enough to power the checker I guess.
I think that's why it's advertised as a 2S checker.

I've been flying Tenergy 160 mah cells and they have been holding up fine even after flying to LVC (not recommended)
Unless the cells are getting old even after flying to LVC they usually measure 3.85ish volts which is the recommended storage voltage I believe.

Description: 2S cell checker that also works on 1S
To check the on the above mentioned battery's you will also need an adapter to connect the two

JuletKiloMike can set you up with that http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2341896

I hope this helps

Tom

1s battery checker

I just married a 1s female lead to a JST lead which has the proper pin spacing for my checker. There are sources on eBay for both. I use 4" 1s charging extensions on all my 1s chargers anyway and had just bought a 10 pack of JST leads, male and female. Voila.

The adapter part isn't a problem. I have 3 different cell checkers but none of them will read a 1s battery
I will look into getting the one from HK

I purchased a setup from JKM RC Solutions in our classified section (micro airplanes) and am very happy with it. Works perfectly!

Thanks for the links guys.
If nothing else I was going to make an adapter from a balance connector I have from a retired battery and some female um connectors and check them 2 at a time.

I bought 2 for 5.84 on ebay from a store called. Emilyandlilly, they ship from New Jersey and its free. They are just readouts and dont have the alarm attached. They work great. You will need to make an adapter for the pico style but work great for jst and the next size up from the pico style. The name of it escapes me right now.
