DAYA 550 Alien Carbon Fiber Folding Quadcopter

Did you purchases one? Like the look of it, looks durable and strong enough to swing a large prop with out issues.

I' m thinking for a set up with this frame :
- sunnysky V3508 580kv
- afro 30a
- naza v1 gps
- 12" prop
- tarot gimbal
- 5000 4s
I will be around 1800grs, for flight time i have 12min on ecalc

This is a low cost configuration but can work well, what do you think ?

Get ztw spider 30 amp esc, i have read sync issues with the afro esc and sunnysky 3508

Yes you're right, question of 22 poles and i have 10 of afro 30a so i have to try another motor in 14 poles

Yes i belive it will work well, but be carefull with esc combo

Looks very similar to the xaircraft xcope with the white top plate.

Also shares quite a bit of similarity with the HK Alien 560, with improved landing gear.

I thinking about buy this frame, but in my opinion will be problem with propellers on cam. What you thinking about this??

On YT is one movie with DAYA-550
Daya550+Naza M V2 (7 min 36 sec)
with Tarot GIMBAL - propellers is on all of footage.

I saw this video and i don't understand how he have the props during all the video, but we don't know what kind of gimbal he use, for sure i will find solution if i have the same issue we use longer arms for gimbal, wait and see, i hope receive the frame next week

Just a heads up if you are building this frame - the tube arms are different lengths but not by much so you don't notice it. The manual doesn't indicate this at all - well, maybe in Chinese but you can't even tell if the longer arms go to the front or the rear.

Aside from this and the fact the kit was missing the 8 washers needed to attach the arms, it's a great frame.

I've got the DJI E600 propulsion kit I'm trying with it. Ready to start wiring it up!
