Sunday flying at LAMA

Wow, what a day for flying.. I counted 14 cars at the field when I arrived around 11:30. Lots of good flying went on while I was there and I was playing with a new camera so took lots of pictures. Here's just a couple of them. I'll try to opst a lot more on teh LAMA and maybe the District IX web site by Friday nite or SO...

well aright! thx, mike, for 'making it happen'. you are one of those magical camera guys - always seem to get good shots.

heh, kenny, i had the thing so far up in the sky that it was hard to see the orientation sometimes. mostly because of fear-of-ground, but some was because i was accustomed to the size of that 44" spitfire in the air. funny how it became the same size as a small foamy in the air - i was like..."i need a bigger plane"....until time came to load it into the car.

It was definitely a great day for flyin. Andy's plane looked good in the air and if he was nervous, I couldn't tell. He flew it like he stole it and the landings were floaters...
