Looking for an old truck.

I am trying to figure out the name of a truck from when I was younger.

It was a Ford Body, had dual motors, had dual batteries, and was only two wheel drive. They advertised it by running it into stack of bricks till it knocked it down. The truck was supposed to be indestructible.

Thanks for your help!

Any help?

It was fairly large I think 1/8th scale, tires were about the size of 40 series and it was an off brand.

I think the rarety of this truck is making it about imposible to find this many years later but I would love if anyone has some info.

I can't think of anything that had two batteries and two motors but was only 2wd.

Seems like no one can. I saw it at a local R/C show and a friend bought one. Had it for a few years and it just went into the trash I am sure.

I have been on a recent kick to find all the older cars I had and this is one I can't find at all. The others I am looking for I found and have bought.

Again thanks for any sugestions or help!

Was it more hobby grade or toy grade?

Hobby grade.

It had 2 540 motors, was fairly long, the wheels where white. The chassis was black and fairly basic.

It wasn't super fast but was fairly powerfull, and it's claim to fame was how strong it was hence the running it into the bricks.

Are you sure it wasn't 4WD? It would make little sense to have 2 motors with just 2WD, unless every rear wheel had it's own motor. But that would make the car very hard to drive straight, so it's not likely this arrangement was used.

I totally forgot about those "World Scale" cars that MRC sold!

There was three of them, a monster truck, a stadium truck and a buggy. I do remember the old magazine ads showing them driving into a cinder block wall too. Just needed something to shake up my memory!

Problem is now that I figured it out I need to find one, have extra cash, and hope it doesn't go for a crazy high price.
