Futaba 10C with Spektrum Voltage Dance
Does anyone out there have a 10C with Spektrum module in it and notice the voltage "dances"?
Mine will show a voltage and then very quickly change back and forth to .1v up or down from there, very fast.
However, if I hold the range check button on the module it stays solid.
Anyone else notice this?

My 9C does it too and it is normal. It is the way the Spektrum module draws power in normal mode. In range check mode the output power is reduced and as a result the current draw also decreases so the battery voltage stays constant.

If you want to get rid of the voltage dance on your DM8 module, all you need to do is hook up a capacitor to the positive and negative pins of the module (I believe pin 2 = positive and 4 = negative) How small of a cap ? I dont know. I used an exaggeration of a capacitor (1000uf) to initially test it out and will do a cleaner job whenever I get the time for that.
I believe Andy Kunz stated that the module cycles on and off many times a second which is what freaks the Futaba voltimeter out.
And yes, a caveman could have done a better looking job.
