What to build?

I have built several guillows kits and some foamies, and would like to try a larger plane. I have been flying for several years, and consider myself a competent pilot. I have access to a lazer cutter. I am wondering what to build next. I am looking for something in the 50-70" span range. If you have any ideas, please help.
Thanks

Pretty hard to suggest something specific. There's a couple of thousand aircraft to choose from. What turns your crank? Warbirds? Bipes? Golden Age?. Id say pick something that interests you.

By the by, I used to fly with the Gremlins in the early 80's and then again for a year in 2000. Great club! My folks still live in Guelph.

nice, I'm a current member of the gremlins. I'm looking at one of Pat Tritle's planes. Either the 60" Porter, 60" Cub or Super cub. For this project I'm looking either for a bipe or something golden age.

The Porter or the Cub would make excellent choices. Pat's got a few bipes there too. How about his Tiger Moth? That would be a good choice. And you have a few full scale ones in the area, too. Say Hi to Johnny Artuso for me!

Personal preference- do the Porter. Not something you see every day.

I have had way too much fun flying Pat's C-140. My mods included inlaying the cowl and cabin area, adding a carbon rod to the wing "spar" structure, and covering the fuse and tail parts with Monokote chrome, scrubbed with green Scotchbrite for an aluminum look, Wing was covered with silver microlite or whatever. Weight is about 19oz. Power is a 950KV 400 size outrunner and a 1320mah 3S lipo. Very aerobatic, yet light enough for slow scale fly byes.

PS: I use basswood stringers in rear fuselage where soft balsa is crushed in handling. Increase diameter of landing gear wire a little.
