Where can I find blue core foam?

I've been wanting to start, or attempt to start, a project and I wanted to use blue core foam from Downing - but I just got an email from them saying that there wasn't a distributor in my area - the closest is a state away.
At my local Home Depot, they do have the 1/4 inch PINK foam - they sell it in bundles of about 4x3 feet (each panel) and about 10-12 panels - I don't know the exact number, and it runs $45 a bundle. Pretty cheap, but I haven't seen very many edf's or scratch build prop jets using the pink foam.
Can anyone point me to some blue core online, or tell me if the pink stuff can be used?
I am just amazed at the quality and finish of the jet's I see these days in Depron -I'd never suspect they were built with flat foam - are there any links showing finishing methods?

Isn't the pink stuff by Corning,... while the Bluecore is a Dow product? I would use either product without hesitation.

I'd like to know where I can find the 1 - 2 inch blue or pink stuff...it seems like it's the hardest to find.

Lowes have it. Order online and pick it up at your local Lowes. Delivery time varies.

Oh - that's good to hear about the online order. The Home depot near me used to carry it but the store manager admitted to me they threw it all away in the dumpster due to it not selling fast enough (and I came in to buy some)! I guess shelf space is a lot more valuable than slow moving product!

Got mine from ebay - probably not the cheapest per square foot but enough for what I wanted and delivered to my door!

Thanks for the info guys - but in MD Dow doesn't sell it - I just got a email back from them saying they don't have any distributors - but I will try the online Lowes thing - Home Depot didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked for it. I'm getting a hot wire cutter, and looking forward to a lot of experimentation.

not a surprise....there's about 4 lowes and 3 home depot close to my house and none of them knew what i' was talking about. you may have to show them on their own computer what it is and make sure the manager is there to witness the free lesson, might be a good incentive to get a discount... worth a try.

I know the roof center in Columbia sells it. Try the one in Rockville.
