slowstick little help needed
I flew my picostick into oblivion yesterday and had so much fun I decided I need a slowstick
I want to know what is needed for the following mods
replacement of aluminium dihedral by brass piece of tube: what kind of tube is needed? diameter (if possible in metric)
what kind of carbon rods do I to avoid the sloppy control by the standard push rods?
and lastly can someone point me to a good slowstick mod thread because I ve been searching/reading more than 6 hours yesterday to find the right info.
many many thanks

Not sure about exact diameter of the tube. I used brass and some little sloppy fit carbon fiber rods and epoxy. Put fiberglass rod inside of brass tube and bend gently to correct dihederal. Pull rod out after. The rod helps keep the tube from kinking.
You can use the carbon fiber rod from www.airdyn.com in the 1.25 mm size for pushrods.
Not sure of a link for ya though.
