i have 602's in some planes...i think they would do 9lbs as i have seen some in Tams 1:12 F-16 and they weight 9+ lbs. not sure what 603's are,can you post a link .spring air retracts are high quality set ...made in usa i believe with "real" alum.i have a set of Tam mini gear that i may use in mine.

the 602's may work if you mod them to hold a larger dia. wire.
good news i finished the exhust plug tonite .so i'll wax it up and see if i can get one made this weekend.

I found three 2.5" Kraft wheels today at the local club swap meet. Now I need to find two 3" wheels for mains so if someone has one or two, I would trade my other two nose for a main

first exhust duct is laid up and in cure ....now the biggy how to get it off the plug....i did s overlap with peel ply where a zipper would be if this was a pair of pants

long day it took some effort to remove the tail pipe,i was trying not to have to cut it but i did have to slice it on the sides a bit plus i had a over lap in the zipper area.the pipe (pair of pants) has some slight hips and this was hard to get passed.so i may work the shape a bit to help with part removal.the lay up was easy but i spent about 2hrs getting it off .of course i have some special tools now and i know what to do so should be easier next time .

Guys i had to take the week off of work(budget issues

and it's not even jan yet

) so i have a few days to make ducts .the inlets are going to be $65.00 and the exhust is going to be $55.00 plus $17.00 for shipping to start with .price may rise come jan.as im sure material prices will be raised. pm me and i'll start the list and send you paypal info .sorry this has taken so long ,life just gets in the way.hope to post some info tomarrow on what size the fan hatch needs to be to install remove the tail pipe for maintenance

is there a way one of you guys can post Fahims cad drawings (the latest ones) i cant open them on my PC and im trying to see if there is a proplem with the gear retacted and the ducts.

Images View all Images in thread Views: 57 looking down the pipe Views: 50 here you can see the hips where the duct is wider than it is at the fan. i may use heavier cloth ,this one i used 3.6oz cloth...might try 5.8 just to mke it a bit more durable Views: 48 seam /fiberglass tape on sides Views: 67 you can see the zipper area where i had th overlap ,and peel ply . using black gaffers tape to hold tail pipe on Views: 53 aft end of tail pipe
