Mheeli, do you have a wiring setup for the yellowjacket? I have a yellowjacket coming today and would like to get it wired up. I have the breakout board already, use it with my Dragon OSD. Would the driver be the same? I'm able to update and make changes to my OSD with my breakout board.

Brian.

The yellowjacket arrived safe and sound. Does the breakout board plug straight in? When it says txo, on the yellowjacket, does it go to rxi on the breakout board? Can the antenna be removed or is it needed? Could you please post a wire layout so I can get started.

Cheers, Brian.

I ordered the yellowjacket from Async. If you look at the bottom of the yellowjacket page, you will see the breakout board. I had mine already for my OSD.

Croc. I have a Dragon OSD but it's not for the drone. The breakout board that I used to program the OSD will work with the yellowjacket.

I fly with the antenna disconnected. Should be OK as the WiFi chip has a copper antenna line on the PCB.

I have updated the initial post with the writeup and all the files required for this project.

This should keep you busy for a day or 2.

I will continue the writeup when I got some sleep

Ready to roll. Very easy to solder up, thanks to Mheeli. You da man!! I was able to program the YJ and recieved "move sticks" commands. Just need to wait for the start up procedure. Need to know the channel designations(norm/rev), that sort of thing. Hope to have a test flight indoors this Friday.

Cheers, Brian.

Wow, that's quick and very neat wiring. What Rx are u using? I'm glad the Sketch worked as designed , so far.

I just finished flying around in my garden using my iPod as video downlink. This thing is soooooo relaxing to fly, not like my other toy

I will update the radio setup procedure later today.

Thats one sweet looking heli The YJ was easy to do. I have a MK quad to put together. Alot more soldering then the YJ. I'm using an AR6200, without the sat rx.
