Eflite Advance 25e flight time

So I just picked up a advance 25 e from a local guy. I have heard good things about it. But I can't find anywhere online on what it's suggested flight time is. I'm thinking of running a 4s 3300 battery. I was able to get cg with it. It has a turnigy aerodrive 1000kv motor with a 45amp esc. I can't figure out what size prop is on it cause there is no markings. Only thing it says is E1407 on the prop. Can anyone help with what flight time I should be running? Also what prop I should get cause this one looks old. Thanks

This is the motor it came with. It recommends a 8x4 prop on 4s but the advance 25e recommends a 12x6 or 12x8. Do you think I would be safe running a 12x6 or 8?

Measure the diameter of your prop. That you don't need markings for. 8x4 doesn't sound right for sure.

I just checked. It does have a 12" prop. So I guess it should be fine since its been flown that way. From what I've learned online, I'm guessing about a 8 min flight time? Does that sound right?

My advice is to work up to the flight time in steps. Fly for 4 or 5 minutes and see what your battery voltage is afterwards. Your batteries will last longer if you don't run them down to the point that your low voltage cutoff is being triggered.

I have not flown my Advance 25E in a long time, but when I did, I was using an E-Flight Power 25 on 3S 3300 with an APC 11X10 E prop. Performance was good, but I thought it could use a little more power.

Others used 4S on the 11X10 APC E after going to a 60 amp ESC and reported excellent performance. I did some minor damage to my Advance 25E during a landing and have not completed repairs. I really should get the Advanve back in the air as it is a really nice flyer.

Good luck!
