I love bipes and as much as the next man would very much like to see 3DHS release one, but these rumours seem to have been circulating for a couple of years now, without to the best of my knowledge so much as even a distant photo of a pre production model to back them up.
At what point do we draw the line and conclude what seems increasingly obvious, it ain't gonna happen, at least not in the foreseeable future

So any details of the size and suggested power? (sorry if this has all been discussed elswhere)

yessir, absolutely. It's a 42" wingspan and uses the gear from the 51" Slick... motor, servos, battery, etc. Mine is flying on the A30-12XL, ice lite 75 is memory serves. 4S 2500 is the perfect lipo with wiggle room either way. I have Savox 0255's in mine, though I think the HS85 is a little more rugged for the application.

Didn't really think there was going to be a green one. I love my green PA AMR but it's way too hard to see with all the green trees, no sun etc in Vancouver.Think I'll get the red one.

Thanks for digging out the video, seems that I was miles out when i suggested no trace of the bipe I'm very pleased to be wrong in this instance, it looks great!

I'm seriously considering this as my next plane, though I wish they'd kept the wingspan closer to the small 48" Vyper even a bit bigger would be nice as well as a 65" version.

But bipes are always 'bigger' than suggested by their wingspan alone. Being bipes they tend to have smaller span wings than a monoplane, so this 42" bipe will likely be at least equal in 'overall size' (and weight) to a 48" monoplane. The fact that it uses the exact same powetrain as the 51" Slick tells the story.

yup, +1 to what JetPlaneFlyer says. bipes are "bigger" than their wingspans suggest, this bipe uses the 51" Slick equipment, etc etc.

This plane has been in development for such a long time to get it right, varying sizes may be looked at once this is nailed.

Sounds like luke wants one with a 48" wing span that might be closer to a 60" monoplane.

It's nice that there is something to use the 51" Slick gear now though... it was an odd ball setup that didn't transfer to other 3DHS planes AFAIK.
