I would say a Goblin, Logo, Compass, and AlEEs. would be more like luxury helicopters reserved for someone that rarely crashes and usually only because something major went wrong. If your can safely bring down a heli with no power or with a failed tail. These kits are sometimes fickle in set up and parts can be expensive or hard to come by.

If your looking for a real heli for a real pilot I would stick to Align, Gaui, thunder tiger and Protos.

Align is a nice heli. The most popular and for good reason in of its own. However a Goblin i "imagine" to be ultra smooth. A few grades above align in overall quality.
Here is my overall take on noobs owing a Goblin as an overall 1st c.p heli. I would not recommend it. But if one has the basics down of knowing c.p flight I'm all for it. Also keep in mind the majority of todays new c.p helis on the market are FBL. That in itself takes alot of the "twitch" out. Out with the old in with the new tech.
This was my train of thought and one that helped me decide to go with the SAB. I also chose to go with the Helicommand for bailout reasons.

I just opened my box last night, what an amazingly detailed kit. I have never seen such a well documented manual with labeled parts in they order you will assemble.
The only thing i am missing for the build is a green loctite...

I totally disagree! After building well over 150 of those helis you posted over the years. And fighting through the myriad of related design and mechanical issues in each of them. My first Goblin build was a total treat. Everything was perfect! Abec 5 bearings throughout. And it flies as well as it looks. If I had it all to do over again. I would have started and stayed here. Thank you Sab for building the heli I have talked about building for years now.

I am selling off or giving most the others in my collection away, and expanding my Goblin lineup for sure.
