Maxford Blériot XI
Just saw this 51" Blériot XI on the Maxford website:
Looks pretty neat. I'm glad they are taking on some unusual models.

A recent issue of Air Classics magazine had an article about a reproduction Bleriot XI, with pics. It was stated that because the wing was seriously undercambered and had a lot of dihedral, the airplane responded well to rudder, and the wing warping was helpful. Flying speed was very low, about 30 MPH.
The Maxford model appears to have very little dihedral, and maybe not much undercamber. It also has ailerons. So it would be helpful to know how this bird handles.
There is another B-XI thread in this forum, but I don't recall the URL.
All the best,
