Good 1s lipo battery

Hello all,
I am looking for more batteries for my msrx/ champ/ duet. I usually use Thunder power 160 mah batteries, but I am exploring some slightly cheaper options...

I am looking at the common sense rc 180 mah batteries, and the venom rc 150 mah batteries.

Are these batteries as good as the Thunder powers? Also, I need them to work with my thunder power UM 4 port charger. (Both my eflites and thunder powers work in this charger)

Thanks in advance,
John

Honestly they are all a crapshoot. The Thunder Power are no better then the cheap ones in my experience. There's just something about a cell that small that it doesn't last. Buy whatever you can get for the cheapest price. I would not pay more then $3 each for ~160mah batteries.

Thanks. I wanted to make sure that if I got a venom or common sense rc battery it would work... Any more opinions?

@Mark Wood: the batteries you recommended have a different connector than the batteries I am looking at...

Oops! Those were 600s. I'm sorry.

Here's a link to a bunch of the 160s available on Fleabay. Take your choice: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40

Either one will work. I'd probably avoid the Venom since it's smaller. The common sense rc is nice since it's a higher C rating but that comes at a cost of size and weight (and $$$). Honestly I would not get either though.

Instead here you go, 160mah 1S from a reputable vendor for only $1.69 each:

Should work just fine. All that stuff uses the same battery.

I bought a bunch of the Lectron 180Mah 45C batteries and they work really well in the AS3xtra, tiny Radian and nano quad. 45C do cost more but there is a real difference in performance if you have a plane that needs it. A guy did some side by side tests in the AS3xtra thread and the Lectrons performed a little better than the E-Flite 45c and cost less.

Hmm... I may try a 2 pack of those.
Thanks. How long have you had them? Any issues with them so far?

I can't comment on longevity or wear as I've only had them a few weeks.
