OK, first remove the shrink... Ive found spots marked A and B in picture where I think would be perfect to solder the new caps to.

I will fill in later when I get some caps...

First TEST...... :

OK, I did have to go down to basement to do some first test, forgot my camera as I went down, but the first test is only to see if it on the right side or not...

Test was with Mega 16/40/1, small prop (think it was 4.7x4.7?) 5s lipos(not the best)

* 10 second run with stock= stock caps a bit hot
* 10 second run modded one= stock caps much much cooler, the panasonic caps where as cool as ice

I know this isnt a scientific test, but at least it shows the original caps runs much cooler..

Will this help to keep the esc alive? dont know, is the mod in right direction? I think so..

Will test more later.. From waht I could feel with my lips the side of esc where the fets in middle are the stock esc seems hotter...

The amp draw is around 130-140 amps, as I have done this before...

edit: Also did run some partial throttle before going full 10 seconds, same on both.., I also have a powerfull fan blowing on motor to keep it on good side

Sebbe..
