All good.

UNTIL …..
Today I was flying indoors, distracted by the door bell, I landed the heli and unplugged the HT8 from the Tx first - BIG mistake....
The heli took off at full throttle crashing around the room smacking into the walls, me and the TV, I ducked and dived then managed to quickly re-plug the HT8 back into the Tx and luckily regained control.
Throttled down and the thrashing blur of plastic and metal was silent.

WHEW - thankfully it was only a micro heli… BIG lesson learned when flying always keep your mind on what you are doing – Heli safety is important.

Very scary. Happened to me way back, before the days of spread spectrum technology, when I switched off the TX before unplugging the heli. A 35MHz 14 inch diameter coaxial going mad in a room with furniture, china, and pendant lights does tend to induce a touch of panic. Mind you, it gave us an excuse to update the tv!

you should have taken a crash picture with the heli stuck in the screen - then you could send that to HobbyKing now and enter to win 100$ in "crash cash"
(no, seriously ...! ...)

well, I have a laptop that got hit by an mCPX once ... (I STILL use the laptop!!! .)

the screen after the hit was split diagonally in two halves, the left("upper") one totally black and the right("lower") one still showing whatever part of the picture was displaying.
At the upper end of the diagonal split it looks like someone shot a hole in it with a 9mm ...

I am now using the HDMI out going to a LED screen to display what the computer "does" ...

you guys are correct about the compatibility on the HCP60, it's the same as the HCP80 V2.
I'm trying my best to relay all the information I know... please be patient with me guys... if there are questions I'm here to answer them.

I just saw an update to HCP80 V2 transmitter configuration.

The previous channel assignment stated by the HiSKY rep was wrong. This one makes more sense:

#1 AILERON: Normal
#2 ELEVATOR: Normal
#3 THROTTLE:NOR
#4 RUDDER: Reverse
#5 GYRO: Normal
#6 PITCH: Normal

One question: does channel #5 "gyro" actually changes the tail gyro gain? Or does it toggle between 3G/6G modes?

Unlike HCP80 V1, this one does not require the TX to do CCPM:

Futaba, Type: Helicopter, Swash: H-1
