Build Log
Su-27 55mm EDF

The Su-27 is my favorite jet and I have made many pusher versions. This is my first attempt at making an edf one. I borrowed some of the ideas from my super bandit edf builds. I'm very happy with the way it came out, still have some minor details to do but its ready for a maiden.

The wingspan is 28", auw is 21oz, 55mm xf fan w/ 5400kv don's wicked motor using a 40amp turnigy plush esc and rhino 4s 2150 25c lipo. Static thrust test is definitely more than 1:1 ratio.

And here are the plans for the super bandit edf which I learned to do the intakes and cup method.

Have you flown all of them yet?
Im asking because i want to know if the Su-37 gets a bit of turbulence just flying around.
I have two freewing flankers, One is modified into an Su-33 sea flanker and one is a stock Su-34.
They both fly a bit wobbly and i dont know why yet. The Su-34 is my second one, and this time i angled the cannards upwards like the real Su-34 and it still flies wobbly. I read an Su-27 book that stated that originally they tried the canard design early in the su-27 project and found them to make turbulence so they left them off untill they finally sorted it out for the Su-27M prototypes.

Those look really good BTW. I was lucky enough to obtain one of these but in the pusher version off a freind getting out of the hobby, Im waiting on a battery cant wait to fly it.

I have not flown my edf version yet but all the su's I have ever made and flown were all very smooth. No problems at all slow or fast. Must be something wrong to cause the turbulence.
