HK Salangane

Butt ugly name, interesting looking plane.

Anyone know who makes it? It looks like a miniblade crossed with a hyperDX.

If I was to guess is seems like Hobby King is getting planes from RCRCM with slightly different paint and re-naming them. I would seriously doubt if anything is coming from Europe.....

Hey Jacko - you gonna pull the trigger on this one?

For the slope ,may be...
MH32 airfoil is great and easy to fly ,takes ballast as much as You can stuff in .
But I dont see any space in the fuse for batteries/motor/gearbox/controller.

Specs say it'll take a 2650-3300mah 4s Lipo Battery, must be roomier than it looks.

Remember that chinese people got smaller hands and fingers they can stuff more in the fuse . Just kidding.
I think one of us has to order this ship. The only thing that doesn't look good for me is that the tailtube is seperate. I don't want to imagine the case when you lose the tail during a fast pass
And yes I know that you have to glue it on
btw Yuri : Isn't it time for a bigger X-Plane? A plane in the same style - 2Meters , flaps and ailerons , full carbon , light and extra strong with nose cones would be killer. Would be the perfect plane for DS , hotlining and even speeding.

The plane looks nice, but I think the V is too flat. If you stick a prop on it, it's probably going to give you a fun ride on launch.
I picked up (off the table) an rcrcm plane once. I really liked the design and the finish was great. It felt ready to hit the slope, so I asked the owner how much ballast he had in it. He said none.

I used to own an RCRCM model, till it fell apart in the air

This doesnt look like RCRCM, or like a launchmodels product. Ive never seen it before, so wondered who made it.

I agree the V tail does look flat, but it could be good cheap fun (if its not an overweight pile of crap made out of cheese cloth and bog)

EDIT -

Actually, maybe it is a launchmodels product, check out the servo covers top right of the pic.

looks pretty good to me! I mean yes, it's hobbyking, so the build will likely require some... "alterations", but it seems like a decent plane. way out of my price range though, and the v-tail is way too flat. (although that is likely fixable)

Nice find, check out http://www.ty1.com.tw/All%20Composite0001.html

Everything but the jets are launchmodel products, so im guessing the osprey is too, but theyve written their own instructions for them all
