Radial Rocket ; 60size ; Seagull

Cool Looking bird!
Called SIG and the Engine Cowl is 7" in Dia. , So a Saito 120 radial will fit!

Otherwise a Saito 100 will hang out about 3/4". Not bad if it's inverted.

It would be cool with retracts.

I love this little airplane and started drawing one of my own a while back. Didn't get very far, too many other priorities at the moment. Not to mention a lack of documentation. Might pick one of these up just for kicks although I REALLY wish Seagull would have put built up tail feathers on it. I hate flat stabs when they are not scale. It may not be a deal breaker on this one for me though.

Definitely a cute little bird! I hafta wonder about the landing gear though, some seagull gear has been known to be left wanting and it would be a shame to scratch up this little bird because of that. It is definitely a handy size and might just have to come live with me.

Maybe some struts like this would make things easier.
