Yes it would bind.
Yes same process..binding pin pin C0 and GND.
Range the same...if you attach a dipole antenna like original.

Thankss

These days I read their threads, I read that range with XL7105 is over 100m +-

this range refers to testing with PCB antenna of XL7105 in the air or on the ground?

I was looking dipole antennas in the forum, and I found a few that I like

these two are the ones I liked, especially the last one that is most similar to the original.
Which would recommend me? , maybe another model better?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Airgain-N242...item2ecf4f6514

http://www.alofthobbies.com/40cm-receiver-antenna.html

what range (approx ) i have with any of these antennas in the air?

with the original receiver is near to 3 or 4 km approx

I ask because it will use a mini quad fpv, and I want to be sure of have a sufficient range

does not have much autonomy flight, but maybe at some point is away 1 km +-

thank you very much Again

It depends also of TX ,With which tx you get 3-4km?
The second antenna is better,First one not so good.Range idk I didn't test.Instead of flying I'm mostly busy coding.

My TX is a Turnigy 9x 20dBm, or around 100mw or less

What do you think of range? Maybe can have 1 km?

Do not forget to fly is the most fun part

Just out of curiosity ( sorry I haven't read all the pages yet) could I build a micro heli board for collective, cyclic servos, brushless main mototr and a brushed or brushless tail. All to work with a flysky tx.

MultiWii supports 90deg and 120deg cyclic pitch helis, so I believe YES.

Hasi,
It arrived the dc booster ,,,,well is is really small. It uses 2108A ..DC booster(Ithink a chinese chip ME2108...didn;t find oher maker data sheet).I will update the board to accommodate this chip. The inductor stays on only the actual chip and a small shottky diode.,,the rest remain. The schematic is simple.

Sounds good. How much bigger will the pcb be?

Some size not even a fraction of mm.I use the existing inductor pads ,caps ,........added only the 2108(SOT89) chip and one small shottky diode.
The only problem is that I cannot find easily the booster chip(on aliexpress).....I can remove from the original booster pcb.

I found also some equivalents.

I removed the inductor ,shotky diode and pins..It can be used also as it is(Inductor is on main board).I think I will remove also the existing caps...I have caps on the main board. The pcb is really small 10x11mm.I reduced the weight to 0.2 grams(with pcb).
I trimmed a litle bit reduced the size t-9x7mm.I attached a smaller shottky diode SOT323...now I can glue it on the back of my existing pcb(old version).
Also the inductor value to be changed to 22-33uH..preferably with coil.

Finally finished the actuator rx prototype, final version will have the big inductor and TQFP AT328 will be removed and replaced by a smd ferrite bead and the MLF AT328. The module pcb antenna will be cut off and replaced by a wire. Will program/test it tonight or tomorrow depends on my state of mind.

The Allegro A3901 was a pita to solder, needed at least to redo it six times, freaking critter was surfing on the solder bed and pins never aligned... Pins are now +/- aligned and tested for shorts, there isn't, I just hope it isn't cocked by all that heat.
