480 max current/cells
Does anyone know the (practical) limits for current on a 480-type motor (Dymond MAX 480, etc)? Or another way, can one safely run 10 cells on these motors? And if so, what prop is appropriate?
I've been running 8 cells with Gunther spoon prop with great success in a Pibros, just wondering if more would be more fun...
I was going to try and search, but the new bulletin software doesn't seem to like short words (like "480" or "max"). Hmmm

I've used the Permax 480 on eight and ten cells up to 12 amps with no side effects on a 6x4 DD prop and in geared applications. Should work just fine.
