my Turkey Vulture

Half size of Bob Hoey’s Turkey Vulture ,wingspan 820mm,use waste material to do it. Fully balsa cover wing skin.
Wingtip ailron and tail elevator use spring-pull control system.

You can improve performance by varying the twist on the tip pin-feathers. That is, use a hairdrier and actually wash-out the front ones more than the rear ones.

Think of the airflow around the top of a conventional airfoil, as it goes up over the nose of the airfoil, then level, then down to join the underside airflow.
