Good catch, Lenny.
I think that the ELITE 2/3 A 1500 cells are more of a direct (size and capacity wise) swap for the 2S 1450 Hyperion. R, Target |

This is actually a pretty good summary of eneloop batteries:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eneloop This provides some more detailed specifications: http://www.eneloop.info/fileadmin/ED...data_sheet.pdf |

Not quite on the topic... but check out the GP270AAHC cells.
I like my 4 cell packs. Only 31g each, rated at 2600mAh but can be discharged at up to 7.5A . Mine are at 2780-2850mAh, down to 0.9v/cell . The lighter AAA cells (GP100AAAHC) http://www.gpbatteries.com/INT/image...GP100AAAHC.pdf are rated at 970mAh and only weigh 15.2g/cell . They show discharge curves up to 2790mA. I haven't tried these yet, but plan to in one of my electric sailplanes possibly this summer. |
