are there different programming modules
I will be getting the 9xr radio and was wondering if there are different programming modules for different radios or different microcontroller/processors
does it matter if they are 8bit or at mini or atmega, or what is the difference...
I see different programmers labeled but I am not sure what chip goes in the turnigy radio?
or maybe the better question is what programmer should I get for my turnigy radio, also include the cable... I think it is a 10pin to 6pin cable?
anyways, any tips/info/links would be appreciated...

There will soon be a new 9XR Pro with more powerful main board and processor, as well as features such as haptic, voice, telemetry-capability, more model memories, etc. See this thread:
It will only require a mini USB cable for connection.
If you want to go with the 9XR, you need a programmer like this:
There are cheaper ones, but this source is reliable, helpful and ships quickly. Recommended by me!

thanks, I actually bought one from him last night... just by searching ebay...
i guess they hardware is all the same... no matter which microcontroller/chip you have...funny how HK and other sites sell different versions for different prices, varying from $9-20
anyways, I am still stuck.. not sure what the heck I am doing wrong... but oh well, this too shall pass... hehehe
