Our local crew of dedicated F3J misfits went out today to practice for the contest next month. We had a blast ! We are all amped and looking forward to the event. One thing though. We need more people to join the contest! Come on out! You'll find the sign up info in the first post of this thread.

Please see the video listed below. And remember how much fun these things are with the mass launches, nail biting thermal hunts, and hoping you nail the hunski before the horn does it's thing

Hey, guys! Did y'all lose the itch to fly J? There are only 5 teams signed up and this a great event to fly! Sure, it's cold for being in Arizona, but it's better than waist deep snow snow and sub-zero temps! Get with it, guys. Come out and have some fun!

F3J December 1&2

Hi Guys,,,

I'm planning my trip to warm Phoenix to fly some F3j because I I cant make the F3J event at the Southwest Classic early in 2013. I will be in Florida attending the Gator , F3B event and also vacationing in Key West.

So I'd like to see a full signup competitive event. Dont make me name names!

Remember,,, F3J with winches!!!! And hand tow accepted too!

The event will be well run because the host club has done several F3j events and are seasoned at the rules and have good timing equipment.

Get your game on!! Richard

slight challenge need some help from the locals

I need a character reference to cross the border... lol - kidding its easier than that !

We have only one winch. I have a second here but I just got a quote from American airlines who has informed me that thier oversize and extra baggage prices may lead to a $450+ bill for me.

Obviously I would like to avoid that so we need a second winch if someone can help us out we would be very appreciative -

We've got a club winch that you can use. (with a battery) It'll have braided string, no mono.

OK we have enough Mono - Joseph Wydronek is also bringing one as well so between you two our needs are well met -

Thank you very much both of you! See you in a few days!

FYI - no mono on a non-F3B winch...

24. Ford long shaft motors are allowed using all braided line, and will be staked 150 meters from the launch corridor. The turnaround positions will be marked by the organizers. Not adhering to the proper turnaround location or winch location will result in a zero flight.

I would like to come to this event. I hope it's not too late.

I just sent you a PM and it would be great if you could give me a call.
