From last year, a couple of early evening flights over a golf course on Vancouver Island.........

As the thread title says....Vancouver Island is the location and the golf course is called Sunnydale, just outside of Courtenay, B.C.

Indeed it was the ST Labs 5 in 1 .....the plane is such an El Cheapo, I don't want to even show a pic of it......maybe I'll post one later on, when I find it in my archives......

I'm in nanaimo, im up in Courtenay every second day for work, Some one was saying there is a really good Heli pilot up there, that is really hepfull and teaching, do you know of him ?

I know Mike McCrindle very well.....we fly at the same club field in Merville....
If you travel north out of Courtenay on 19A you need to turn left opposite Coleman Rd and take the first left at the sign for FliteSupply hobby shop......the turn is about 10 mins past Courtenay Motorsports motorcycle dealer for a reference point. Tuesday night, Friday night and most Sat or Sun you will be able to find him at the hobby shop or on the field which is located 200 yds away.

I watched the second video and it reminds me of one of those dreams where you get to fly (my favorite type).

Very nice. My wife and I spent a week on Vancouver Island a few years ago. We stayed in a bed and breakfast in Courtenay. Thanks for the blast from the past!

WOW, they still kicking around. I used to buy stuff from them when I was living in Campbell river(in 1980). Nice to hear they're still around.

I looked at the website i was given and well, there is nothing on it to indicate that they sell heli stuff or car stuff, i guess ill only know if i stop in.

I'm telling you now...they deal in HELI and CARS/TRUCKS.....they even have a track onsite to test or drive your ground based vehicles.........
