I seriously contemplated using tape. In the end I decided I would make less of a mess sticking them on than taping. I'm sure when they pop off, I'll resort to tape.

After I toned the throws down further..... the Byper flies quite precisely....then switch on the higher throws.... it becomes wild!!

Great pics. I really like the way my red Bype looks but that blue really stands out. Maybe I need another one in blue just so I can compare the two schemes up close.

Red or Blue..... it really doesn't matter. It's the Bype that really stands out!!

Maiden complete!

Went with the Hacker motor, Gens Ace 4S 2500, ZTW 70A, HS-85MGs all around. Put the battery in, did a quick CG check and took off. Whoa! Lots of power, but waaaaay tail heavy. Apparently my quick check wasn't good enough. Brought it in, and ended up moving the battery all the way up into the nose. Flew much, much better. Where are folks with the Hacker putting their batteries? I know the recommendation is at least a 4S2500, but I could barely get my hands in there to get strap cinched down.

Blue is cool but redder is better

Oh yeah, I'm using A30-12XL V1 with X70 ESC and CC BEC with 5085s and running 4S 2200. I did use spacers that came with the kit to push motor forward and tried to get stuff as far forward as possible. I'm sticking the pack as far forward as I can be comfortable getting a velcro strap on there. CG is close to neutral but I would like it a bit more forward (per suggestions) and may pick up some 2600 or so size packs.

ditto and the battery tray does not go all the way to the front so the battery is only half supported, I'm thinking of extending the tray and maybe adding weight

I saw a picture a while back about the location of someone's ESC. Where did you guys mount yours? The ZTW has those dinky short wires, so I ended up having to fight with the ESC when trying to move the battery into the nose. I'm considering getting some of these - I don't want to move it toward the back, but it's got to go somewhere else.

Oh, and I didn't think to use the spacers.

I would personally extend the battery lead off the esc before the motor leads

I'd like to but apparently that's not a good thing to do without increasing the capacitors on the input (battery leads). I'm guessing there's a reason ZTW made them so short (can't be the price of extra wire I hope!)

I'll also look into extending the battery tray. At the very least I have to move the ESC to get the wires out of the way. The other option, of course, is just shove some weight in the nose but I really don't want to resort to that.
