Question
(Newbie) Cheap 1S Micro FPV Build for Syma X5C-1

Hi, first of all, let me introduce myself, this is my first post here, also, let me preface this with saying that this is my first time making a micro FPV build or anything in the realm of "DIY electronics" for that matter.

That being said, my goal is to make a micro FPV build for my X5C-1 that is as simple as possible, and that is self-contained (running on an external 1S battery).

I am basing my build from the following sources (as well as various posts in this forum):
Parts (I have not bought them yet):

Quote:
Transmitter: FPV Hobby 200MW 5.8GHZ A/V Transmitter

Reciever: Boscam FPV 5.8G 8CH 200mW AV Wireless Receiver RC305

Camera:600TVL Pinhole CCTV Mini Camera + Lens D Wide Angle Lens

Power Connection: Charging Convertor Cable
http://www.banggood.com/Charging-Con...-p-941573.html

1S Battery:
http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-WA...6-p-57811.html
I chose this transmitter because of 2 reasons: it already has an antenna and it has a voltage regulator which allows me to use a 1S battery and make the build as simple as possible.

Here are my questions:
1. Are my connections correct?
2. Will the power cable fit the li-po battery? (I'm just basing the fit on the images, I'm not really sure if it will fit)
3. Will it work? (having no experience in electronics, I'm not sure if it will even work, which is why I'm here )

Thanks!

It should work, but what are you planning to use to power up the receiver?

Some remarks:

- Eventually, you will need some better antennas for more range,
- That camera will not give you a clear image in low light conditions (that is not a problem unless you are planning to do fpv at night)
- The is a cheaper option for the wide angle lens in banggood
- Your battery use a micro-losi connector. That cable will not work, you need something like this

- I have one of these things to power the receiver : http://www.best-holdings.net/UploadF...1438458590.jpg
- I do realize that I'm gonna need a better antenna for better ranges, although the Syma x5c-1 range isn't that great anyway. I see this build as more of a starting point/bare minimum, where I upgrade the parts when I see fit.
- I plan to fly on broad daylight. I'm already looking at camera upgrades for the future.(Looking at 808 for for video capturing, although people say it isn't good for fpv :/)
-Thanks for the tip for the wide angle lens and the connector, you just saved me money. I like money.
