Don't crash it.

Only safe way to do that is to not fly it though, and this plane was meant to fly

I just don't want to knock the nose off it in a nose over or something. I knocked the nose off of planes in the past, glued them back on and it never flew right again. It was just never the same.

Never seen one break that was, not much of a concern really with how they are built. You would have to really thump it her to snap the front off.

Anyone use telemetry with this model? I'm wondering about a pitot tube. Just curious, with those big flaps and the AS3X, just how slow it can fly without stalling?

Heard about this happening, this is why I have the Scorpian Back up Guard.
Did this ESC problem result in a crash for you?

What pack were you using? That looks like it ended badly.

I have been very lucky. I fly mine like a stole it.

Cub landing gear rear attachment

Hi,

Can someone give me some clues on what screws to use on the rear attachment? I can see I have to drill holes in the plastic.
What screws have been used successfully?
Can you include what the screw size/number is so I know what to ask for at the hardware store?
Thanks

Setup complete. After a taxi test in the front yard, I tried an engine runup while holding the tail.
I brought it up to full throttle, all was well and then about a second later, something violent occurred. There was a terrible noise and a really really bad vibration.
I shut it down.
The prop struck the cowl somehow and the shaft looked bent. The prop was now at an odd angle.
The LWC inside was sort of obliterated too.

After I took the prop and cowl off, I checked the motor and shaft and they appeared fine.
Other than the cowl and the LWC I'm finding no damage. The motor is solid and the shaft doesn't look bent.

I have no idea why this happened.

Anyone have any ideas?
