will start building mine and all the info here will help, if you did 417mph without it I think my 250mph target is safe for no bearings and frames,

Here are the readings from down in the valley below

It was 12-15mph with some 17or 18mph gusts. The reading here is in direct line of the wind in the valley. Up at the slope the wind has to bend around a corner.
This is my 59oz AUW K2mDP!

Spencer built them both.

There isn't much too see now since they are all sealed up but Spencer may have some pics. When he asked me what I needed I said the lightest you can make it and still not puff at 201mph. He said how light is light? I said 45oz. He chuckled... And said "OK" and before you know it he called and said I think it will be under 45oz! Then a day or so later I get a call it's RTF at 43oz! :-0 was my thought! Oh man that is insane!
I offered to let him test fly it since it was like loosing a family member, to give away that plane. He did and in light wind it all checked out and the stability system was working great.
Since I had never flown with Alan's system I asked Spencer, how does it fly while the system is on? He said, "like a perfect plane".
Man he was right! I would not have survived the launch last time I flew it without the stability system. It was like 6-8mph on the frontside. The plane just stays level when the stick is level, the system will go to the stops trying to correct itself.
The last laps of the day were low, really low! The system has been unflappable in turbulence.
Spencer estimates 250mph to be the red line to be safe. It was built to go 201mph on very small otherwise un-flyable by DS slopes and to frontside in a varietyof conditions.
I put it in the truck for almost every session at Bills now.

Please bring that light one up to Weldon some time. Bet it would do 150 in 10mph winds.

Hmmmmm...

Yeah that could be a good time for a multi day trip. I look forward to seeing you guys.

I'll be focusing my thoughts and energy on my new Baudis Skywalker until it is worked out. After that I'm aiming at a big Kinetic. Most likely a light 130. I was thinking with custom tungsten or lead ballast on the cg in the fuse and D tubes built to hold lead shot or bb's depending on conditions. Oh! Yes am I installing another stability system.
