It would be interesting to see if any of the fuselages fit the v911 ... with minimal mods.

Ello , well , i would "assume" that the bravo hughes 500 fuselages would be relatively easily to adapt , but, i would like at least one cheesy airwolf and an apache or blackhawk...

Cheesy airwolf, you say? What a coincidence. This old thread:

http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=198686

just popped to the front of the MSR forum over at helifreak. It's about a buy who used to sell Airwolf frames for the Blade MSR. No idea whether he's still around but his email address is in the thread if you wanted to give it a shot...

Aw. That's sad. I just discovered this old thread today, too. Maybe send him a PM on the Helifreak forums? Maybe he's changed his email and will get notified if someone PMs him? Just a thought...

Found this, Solo Pro 319 Black Hawk at a "reasonable price":

Looks like you can place a pre-order.

You can try to mod these micro fuselages by Syma.

http://www.xheli.com/56p-s109g-02.html

http://www.xheli.com/56p-s108g-01.html

http://www.xheli.com/56p-s030-01.html

http://www.xheli.com/56p-s111g-01.html

I haven't tried due to lack of time, but with some time and patience, you can work it out.

And yeah...would love those cheesy Airwolf and the Redwolf

Just a pity that XHeli always charges at least 10$ in S&H

No...these are considered as spare parts. No more that $5 bucks on S&H. When you check out, be sure to select "Spare parts Express (USA Only) $4.95" option, that is assuming you live in US.

Cool , do we have any dimensions for those fuselages ?, xheli is out of the question atm for me ( im in the UK) and s&h would take the overall cost too high, great for some the US guys though so many thanks.
If any of the US guys have those models maybe they could post some more info ?

Neat!!! I didn't realize xheli sold replacement syma parts. Note, I think that the S030 is a bigger heli than the S111, S108, or S109

I am going to compare these bodies to a V911 without canopy on Sunday! However, even without the actual comparison I a rather confident that the "sideways" mounted PCB on the V911 will throw a MAJOR wrench into these plans ... ...
