What range are you getting with your Immersionrc 600mW 5.8ghz tx?

I am curious what others are getting with the immersionrc 600mW 5.8 tx. If you have that tx and an OSD, I and others would love to hear the following:

Range:
Antennas used:
video quality:
RX used:
Video available:

here is my data,
range: 500M
antennas: stock dipoles
video quality: generally good but random noise and choppiness. Rapid loss of reception in about 100M span.
RX: UNO5800
video:
Super Sky Surfer FPV (27 min 2 sec)

I have been about 1000 meters out with my F450 Quad.
This is with the Duo5800 RX and 1 whip + 1 clover on the RX. Clover on TX (IBC)
With the FS Dominators and clovers, i get about 7-800 meters, but with far more noise.

Range: 700/1000+ meters
Antennas used: IBCrazy clovers
video quality: Fair. The duo has much less noise at hi range
RX used:FS Dominators/ IRC Duo5800

wayne, i'm using the nova osd and a sony ccd HAD 600tvl camera. I would be curious to know how far you can go with the helicals. What range did you get on the dipoles?

sap_2000, seems like you should be getting more than 1000m, unless you didn't intentionally go further.

Due to lack of batt capacity must return before reaching the goal of 10 km.

On Tx IBC CL

plane Easystar
EZosd
EZuhf
EZ tracker
600TVL cam

Environment .. sealevel flat area, rel. high humidity (Netherlands)

Video.. above 6km some noise, but at max range still good flyable picture.

Wanted to jump in here and ask a general question and hope somebody can educate me a little bit. I fly FPV helicopters quite a bit from 200 - 600 size and have never really though much on this point, but the cameras i buy are usually 520-600 tvl and i use in conjunction with imersionrc 5.8ghz 600mw v2 tx and fatshark aviators and will soon also be using a 5800 diversity rx for my lcd screen i carry, But my question is if the camera is 600tvl will my picture on the lcd be 600tvl??? i know the fatsharks are only 480 so ill never see a difference there but will my lcd be more crisp of a picture??? the reason i ask is i never see a video recorded and uploaded with a resolution higher than 480, so whats the point of the extra $$$ ona 600 res camera????

So far, 1600m (1.6km) with a pair of SPW antennas. One on the plane, one on the Fatshark goggles (Dominators with integrated 5.8ghz receiver).

Digging up an old threat as I am rather dissapointed with my results:
About 300 meters using the 5.8ghz 600mw immersion video transmitter and a fatshak rcv922 with integrated receiver. This is with cloverleaves, 3 leaves on TX, 4 on receiver.

As radio control I have 433mhz Openlrs with 1watt (400mwatt really).

As Anixs has has at least four times the range with the same kind of antenna's there is certainly something wrong.

I will do some further testing, if anyone got tips let me know.

Range: 1.08 miles
Antennas used: Spironet
video quality: Good
RX used: Fatshark Predator 1 (with Aiwave receiver)
Video available:
1.08 Mile+ on DSMX and AR7010 FPV Quadcopter (2 min 56 sec)

I believe the tree's got in the way of my video link because I stayed at 400ft alt.

Upgrade to something with a Nexwave RX or comparable, makes all the difference.

I just bought the Boscam D58-4 5.8GHz 4CH diversity vRX and the 5.8GHz 32CH A/V 600mW Transmitter so I am hoping for a very solid reception up to 1 mile.
