Using Foils4.2f to print out Fuselage Formers!
Hi again guys,
Something that has caught my interest is creating .DAT Files
for Fuselage Formers, since discovering that "Foils 4.2f" treats them
as Aerofoil coordinates.
Foils 4.2f also allows for sheeting and Leading and trailing edges.
If a former's flat and radiused at the bottom, it will put in
flat, bottom sheeting to any thickness you want - and a top sheet.
Using the Foam - cutting option, you can divide the Former into as
many sections as you want stringers, and print out the Formers to
any size you want, using the "Chord" as the height of your Former.
You can also alter the thickness of them and even create blended
I've supplied some DAT Former Files I made up!
I hope you find them..and this info helpful!
